Final Design for Calender July and August

I apply the template that already made for our calender and arrange the dates and the days base on the 2011 calender and this is my final output.

Assignment 2 Calender (August,Part 3)

repeat the same step by using > new layer > ctrl + alt + G > and colour the area

using the same step..

new layer > name : light 7 > choose brush type number : 264

apply brush > ctrl + T > rotate 

new layer > ctrl +alt + G  > pick a colour > apply to make some effect 

new layer > name : light 8 > brush tool > choose brush number : 527

apply brush > ctrl + T > flip horizontal 

enlarge the size > rotate > slightly slanted > double click 

click eraser tool > erase unneeded area

new layer > ctrl + alt + G > gradient > click to edit the gradient 

drag it > from top to bottom 

layer > light 2 > add layer style > outer glow > opacity : 75% , size : 5 px , range 50

back to light  7 > do the same outer low step to light 7

light 8 > repeat the same outer glow step 

layer 2 > new layer > ctrl + alt  + G > gradient > click to edit gradient 

drag the gradient to make some effect 

new layer > choose brush >  pick colour > apply to workspace > enlarge it > rotate slightly slanted > double click > file save as > choose folder > click OK

new layer > name : light 3 > brush tool > brush number 281 

pick a colour > click OK > choose  brush tool 

new layer > ctrl + alt + G > choose colour

apply the the bottom area 

become like this..

brush tool > brush number : 520

new layer > pick a colour > click OK

apply the brush to workspace 

layer > add layer style >outer glow > choose colour

opacity : 75% , size : 5 px , range : 50 %

brush tool > sampled brush #25

choose colour 

lower the brush opacity to 30%

apply brush > ctrl + T > right click > flip horizontal 

drag the layer to the bottom layer picture and arrange it nicely

new layer > ctrl + alt + G > choose colour > pick brush > apply to workspace 

repeat the same step..

new layer > name : light 6 > choose colour > click OK 

brush tool > choose brush > number : 415

apply brush > ctrl + T > rotate > arrange it


Assignment 2 Calender (August,Part 1)

photoshop > file > new > international paper > A4
file > open > choose picture > click OK

click magnetic lasso tool > select the unneeded area

press delete at the keyboard 

drag the picture to workspace > make a black background by suing paint bucket
new layer > name : light 1 > select brush > choose colour > apply to work space

new layer > ctrl + alt + G

choose colour 

brush tool > pick soft round 200 pixel 

apply at the bottom layer light 1

choose other colour

and repeat the same step 

layer > add a layer style > outer glow 

opacity : 75 , size : 5 , range : 50

new layer > name : light 2
pick a colour > click OK

brush tool > choose brush > apply brush to workspace 

drag the layer to the bottom of the layer picture

new layer > ctrl + alt + G > choose a colour  > click OK

apply effect brush
